On this episode I have a conversation with Diedra Bell who has been an educator for 20 years.  She has a Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies from Cal State University Dominquez Hills.  She also obtained her Master of Arts in Special Education Cross Curriculum from The University of Phoenix and an Ed.S in Curriculum and Instruction from Lincoln Memorial University. She is passionate about helping parents get the resources they need about college scholarships.  She provides some helpful tips on the importance on starting early as you prepare your child for higher education.  She also explains why its still important to take the SAT and ACT even though those tests are now optional at many schools.   She is also starting a scholarship in the name of her mother, Brenda Faye Perkins.
